Pantheon Rec2Rec is a specialist Recruitment to Recruitment consultancy with a mission to enhance the experience and outcomes of the people we work with. We foster strong working partnerships based on mutual trust, shared objectives and best recruitment practice.

Pantheon was founded by Sean O’Brien and Richard Clarke in 2018. At the beginning of their R2R careers Sean and Richard were responsible for building one of the largest Rec2Rec’s in the UK. In 2012 Sean and Richard founded their own Rec2Rec venture which was subsequently sold in 2017. Having completed their earn-out and restrictions Sean and Richard founded Pantheon with the vision to build a larger business supported by technology and ran on recruitment best practice.

Our philosophy is knowledge and quality over volume. Forming real partnerships, truly understanding our markets, candidates and clients is at the heart of everything we do. We’re not reinventing the wheel, our approach is good recruitment practice and hard work, combined with knowledge and experience applied consistently to achieve great outcomes for the people we work with – Rec2Rec, the way you’d do it.

Sean O’Brien


Sean O’Brien worked for over 10 years as a procurement professional prior to moving into Recruitment. Sean started his recruitment career in 2009, building a specialist recruitment division with Hays for 4.5 years before moving into the Rec2Rec Sector. Sean has leveraged his depth of knowledge within the Rec2Rec sector to secure top talent for recruitment businesses.


Richard Clarke


Richard Clarke has worked in the Rec2Rec sector for 10 years. As the Managing Director of Midas Rec2Rec Richard built the business to one of the largest Rec2Rec organisations in the UK before starting his own venture with Sean.

Richard’s experience in Rec2Rec has included contingency, Team Moves, Executive Search, Retained and Large Scale Solutions.


Paul Jacobs


Paul Jacobs has spent 40 years within the recruitment industry, and is the former MD of Office Angels and main Board Director of Adecco UK & Ireland and Chief Talent Officer Chief Operating Officer of Hudson UK, Ireland and Middle East, a global professional recruitment services business.

Paul is now an advisor and trainer for high-growth, independently owned recruitment businesses.

We apply a search methodology to our contingency offering. We fully understand our clients offering in order to identify and attract recruitment professionals with the relevant expertise.  We build relationships with recruitment professionals over time to build an understanding of their career aspirations and goals. 

At Pantheon Resourcing we are invested in the continued success of our clients and candidates. As part of Pantheon Resourcing’s aftercare service all candidate’s placed by Pantheon Resourcing are provided with an on-site mentoring session with Paul Jacobs – ex Board Director at Adecco.

This session complements your own on-boarding and training to help a smooth transition into the new role and maximise the success of your new member of staff. This service is provided at no additional cost.
